Taylor completes term as Kernersville Foundation president Jeff Taylor has completed a five-year run as president of the Kernersville Foundation. Taylor stepped into the role following Arnold King’s death in 2019. King started the Kernersville Foundation in 1999 to support Kernersville-based non-profit organizations.
Winston Salem Homebuilders Association Contributes to Building a Stronger Community The Kernersville Foundation was the recipient of a $2500.00 contribution from the Home Builders Association of Winston Salem. The Homebuilders Association donated a portion of net proceeds from their recent “Nailed It 5K Pumpkin Run,” which was held on October 26th. The contribution to the Kernersville Foundation is part of the Home Builder’s Association ongoing commitment to supporting the local community. (Full Article)
Kernersville Foundation Awards $175,000 in Grants for 2024 The Kernersville Foundation fulfilled another cycle of grant funding to Kernersville nonprofits in 2024. In total, $175,000 was distributed to 14 local organizations. Grants were made possible through the generosity of individual donors as well as the State of North Carolina. Recipients included the following nonprofit organizations, in alphabetical order: The Kernersville Foundation has distributed over $1.5 million in grants to local nonprofits since its inception as a 501(c)3 organization in 1999.
