Summerfest
The Kernersville Foundation, Inc., sponsored Summerfest for ten (10) years beginning in 2002.
The event evolved into a three-night beach music festival with lots of outstanding free entertainment,
plenty of good food, carnival rides and games for the kids, classic car show, fireworks and much more.
The event fulfilled its purpose to create some free family-friendly entertainment for the community,
to create additional awareness in the community about the Kernersville Foundation, Inc., and to
also raise money for the Foundation through the generous support of our sponsors.

There is no admission charge for any of the concerts but members of the Kernersville Foundation will be accepting donations.
These proceeds will be used to support the Kernersville Foundation’s mission of providing financial assistance to non-profit agencies serving the Kernersville community.

Summerfest began in 2002 in an effort to inform the community about the Kernersville Foundation. The concerts and fireworks are made possible by the generosity of local business sponsors.

All proceeds from the event are used solely to support local non-profit agencies.
