CareNet Counseling

Since Kernersville Foundation support of CareNet Counseling directly assists individuals seeking mental health care with a clinician, CareNet Counseling is on the front lines of supporting community members in making themselves whole. With mental health care, they become better community participants overall - whether a parent, teacher, or even a child who needs to be able to focus on their education.

In September of 2025, CareNet kicked off a renewed effort with our first community-focused presentation of the movie ‘LIKE’. CareNet has also worked this year to build a plan for 2026 to be more in the public domain through existing community events. Kernersville Foundation funding was used this year to continue to provide administrative support to our clinic that help to pay for mental health care for community members, but also for much-needed supplies to participate in these outreach events. In total, we supported the clinic with over $12,000 in much-needed funding for clinician spaces and services.
