These funds were added to our other fundraising efforts to purchase the much-needed items for the Exceptional Children’s classrooms in six Kernersville elementary schools. Without these funds, teachers would have to purchase these items out of pocket, and many items would not be available to these children due to lack of money. The items purchased with these funds have enabled children with intellectual disabilities to learn life skills such as washing and drying clothes, shopping, and working in and around a kitchen This is in addition to their schoolwork.
